Every day a large number of ferry boats, of both the 'open' and 'closed' type make the crossing from Igoumenitsa to Corfu. Timetables vary according to the season. Large ferry boats depart from Patras for Italy, usually stopping at Corfu.
    From Italy (Bari,Brindisi,Ancona) the same ferries stop in Corfu before continuing to Patras.
